Description
A millinery headpiece or feather wig designed to resemble a short bob haircut with straight bangs. The piece is composed of natural bird feathers, including pheasant plumage, in a multi-tonal palette of rust orange, cream, tan, and dark brown. The feathers are applied in a shingled, layered fashion to a cap-style base to mimic the flow and silhouette of hair. The crown features quills radiating from a central point, as seen in the top-down view. A single feather quill extends at the nape of the neck. No labels, stamps, or maker marks are visible on the exterior or the visible portions of the headpiece.
