Lot 221:
Description
A Federal style demi-lune flip-top card table constructed of wood with a warm reddish-brown finish. The semicircular top is designed to flip open to create a full circular surface, supported by a swing-gate leg mechanism at the rear. The curved apron is plain and unadorned, following the contour of the top. The table is supported by four square tapered legs. The top and leaf are joined by two inset brass hinges visible at the rear edge. No maker marks, labels, or signatures are visible on the exterior surfaces of the table.
