Description
Two English silver-plated vessels featuring Victorian style ornamentation. The set includes a squat teapot with a bulbous body and a taller coffee pot with a tapered form. Both pieces are decorated with heavy repouss? and chased floral and foliate motifs across the main body. The vessels feature ornate cast handles with scroll detailing and four decorative cast feet. The teapot features a domed lid with a foliated knob finial. The underside of the teapot is impressed with the uppercase text MADE IN ENGLAND and E.P.N.S. situated above the numerals 9794. The coffee pot features a domed lid with a cast bird finial. The base of the coffee pot is impressed with the uppercase text MADE IN ENGLAND and PATENTED above a circular crest depicting a bird situated over the letters G and S.
