A Chinese Art Deco style sculpted rug featuring a dense wool pile hand-knotted on a cotton foundation. The design consists of an open, solid-color rose-pink field centered by a hand-carved floral medallion depicting roses in shades of pink, grey, and olive green. The composition is enclosed by three distinct borders: an inner scroll-and-heart patterned guard border, a main cream-colored border with trailing floral sprays, and an outer border featuring a Greek key geometric pattern. The pile is hand-sculpted throughout to add three-dimensional depth to the floral and geometric motifs. The rug is finished with a knotted white fringe at two ends.
