Description
This lot comprises two Southwestern-style rings featuring traditional metalwork and cabochon settings. The first ring is a statement piece featuring a large, elongated oval turquoise cabochon with a light blue color and prominent tan and brown matrix. The stone is held in a plain bezel accented by a twisted wire rope border on a flat oval backplate. The reverse features a triple-wire split shank. The second ring is a sterling silver piece with a small oval green cabochon stone set in a serrated bezel within a recessed shadow-box cutout. The oval faceplate is decorated with stamped crescent and sunburst motifs. The ring is finished with a double-wire split shank. The reverse of the second ring features an impressed mark reading STERLING above a stylized serif letter S with a horizontal bar passing through its center. The first ring is unmarked.
