Description
A hand-carved wooden candlestick featuring a naturalist motif. The piece consists of a candle cup in the form of a lotus blossom set atop a slender stem. The stem features a repeating pitted texture and a small frog carved in relief depicted climbing toward the flower. The broad, circular base is carved in the form of a lotus leaf with incised veining and five small flower buds decorating the perimeter. The candlestick is finished with a dark brown stain.18 in
