Description
This electric mantel clock is manufactured by the Rullo Statuary Corp and features an integrated Lanshire movement. The case is constructed from cast plaster, commonly known as chalkware, with a hand-painted polychrome finish. The design portrays a cowboy figure wearing a wide-brimmed hat, an orange fringed shirt, and a yellow neckerchief, leaning against a split-rail fence. A brown Western-style saddle is draped over the fence rail. The base is molded to resemble rocky desert terrain punctuated with green prickly pear cactus pads. The clock dial is recessed into a component designed to mimic a hollowed log. The round white dial face displays black Arabic numerals and a black outer minute track, with a gold-tone starburst pattern at the center. It features black hour and minute hands and a gold-tone sweep second hand, all housed under a convex clear cover with a metal bezel. The reverse of the clock movement bears a metal backplate stamped with Clock Movement by Lanshire, Reg. U.S. Pat. Off., and A.C. Only. It includes the CSA safety mark and electrical specifications for 105-125 volts, 60 cycles, and 2 watts. The piece is powered by an integrated white two-prong power cord. The base is incised on the rear with Rullo Statuary Corp followed by a copyright symbol.12×15
