Both caps feature a black mohair braid band, a black patent leather visor, and a black chinstrap secured by two small gold-toned metal buttons embossed with the Great Seal of the United States. Each cap is fitted with a gilt metal cap device depicting the Great Seal of the United States on a circular disk, the standard insignia for US Army enlisted personnel.
