Description
A pair of official American scouting canteens including one Boy Scouts of America (BSA) model and one Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) model. The BSA canteen features a round aluminum body housed in a tan canvas carrier with a webbing shoulder strap. The front of the carrier is marked with a black ink stamp for the Boy Scouts of America National Council surrounding a central fleur-de-lis. The carrier includes metal snaps embossed with the BSA fleur-de-lis logo. The reverse of the canvas is personalized with the name McMichal and the initials R.A.V. written in dark ink. The GSUSA canteen is a round aluminum vessel stamped with the trefoil three-profile logo and the characters Girl Scouts. It features a yellow plastic screw cap attached by a metal chain. This item is missing its fabric carrier.
