Description
This silent butler, or crumb catcher, is constructed from cast brass with a gadrooned or ribbed pattern featured on both the bowl and the hinged lid. The lid is topped with an ornate cast finial. The interior of the piece is finished in bright, polished brass, contrasting with the aged patina of the exterior. It is fitted with a turned wooden handle. The base is marked with a yellow sticker indicating the item was made in India. 9 in long.
