Description
9.5 in. This railroad lantern is an Adlake Kero model, manufactured for the Pennsylvania Railroad. The lantern is constructed of steel with a matte gray finish. The top chimney is embossed with the manufacturer name ADLAKE and the model name KERO. The Pennsylvania Railroad provenance is confirmed by the P R R initials embossed on the top rim of the frame and a red keystone logo with P R R letters on the top lid. The unit is equipped with a red glass globe, a wire protective cage, a bottom font assembly, and a wire carrying bail.
