Description
9.5 in. Adlake Kero railroad signaling lantern manufactured by the Adams and Westlake Company for the Pennsylvania Railroad. The lantern features a metal wire-guard frame with a tall wire bail handle. The top chimney cap is stamped with the manufacturer name ADLAKE, the model designation KERO, and the Pennsylvania Railroad keystone logo containing the initials PRR. The lantern is fitted with a red glass globe that displays matching embossed markings, including the ADLAKE KERO brand and the PRR keystone emblem. The base houses the fuel fount and internal burner assembly.
