Description
3×4 This cast iron Hot Pot was manufactured by Wagner Ware in Sidney, Ohio. The vessel features a cylindrical body with an integrated pour spout and a wire bail handle designed with a central V-notch for stable hanging. The base of the pot is embossed with the arched manufacturer mark WAGNER WARE above SIDNEY, with the size designation – 0 – at the bottom. The matching cast iron lid is designed with a flange to cover the pour spout and a central tab handle. The top of the lid is embossed with the words HOT POT in serif block lettering. The interior of the lid is smooth. The piece is constructed of cast iron with a dark seasoned finish.
