Description
A pair of United States Army 101st Airborne Division Screaming Eagles lapel pins manufactured by Ira Green, Inc. Each shield-shaped pin features the division’s distinctive insignia, consisting of a white enameled eagle’s head with a red tongue and gold-toned beak set against a black enameled field. The pins are finished with an 18 karat gold-plated border and utilize a dual-post clutch back design. They remain mounted on their original gold-toned cardboard retail display card. The card includes printed text identifying the manufacturer as Ira Green, Inc., located at 10 E. 38th St., N. Y. C. Additional printed information includes care instructions stating Do not Blitz. Rub gently with Flannel cloth. and labels the pins as The Original 18 Karat Gold Plated. Each pin: 1.0 inch H x 0.75 inch W Card: 3.5 inches H x 2.75 inches W.
