Description
A Northwood Glass Company pedestal bonbon in the Fruits and Flowers pattern. This two-handled piece is crafted from amethyst-colored pressed glass with a vibrant iridescent carnival finish exhibiting highlights of gold, magenta, electric blue, and teal. The interior is decorated with a molded motif of various fruits, including pears and berries, alongside serrated leaves and blossoms on a stippled ground. The exterior features a molded basketweave pattern. The bowl has a deeply ruffled rim finished with a beaded edge and is supported by a short, circular pedestal foot. A handwritten white adhesive label identifying the maker as Northwood is present on the interior center. 7×3.5 Northwood.
