Description
19.5×4.5 A rectangular porcelain enamel utility sign used to identify the location of a public payphone. The sign features the text PUBLIC TELEPHONE in dark blue serif typography centered on a white field. It is manufactured using a heavy porcelain enamel coating over a metal base. Two mounting holes are present on the lateral ends, each fitted with a metal grommet. The reverse side is finished in white enamel and is devoid of maker marks or branding. A small inventory sticker with the number 70 is affixed to the upper left corner.
