Description
A hand-quilted patchwork quilt featuring a Bowtie pattern, also known as a Butterfly pattern. The piece is constructed from various multi-colored cotton and cotton-blend print fabrics including paisley, gingham, calico florals, and geometric motifs. These patchwork blocks are separated by a solid mint green sashing with small multi-colored floral print cornerstones at the intersections. The solid green sections are hand-quilted using green thread with decorative motifs including four-leaf clovers, diamonds, and elongated ovals. The quilt is finished with a simple binding formed by folding the solid green backing fabric over to the front. The construction consists of hand-pieced blocks and hand-quilting throughout. 68×80
