Description
12 in tall A vintage ceramic centerpiece bowl or compote produced from an Atlantic Mold commercial casting. The piece is constructed of glazed earthenware and features a shallow bowl with a wide, heavily scalloped or wavy rim. The bowl is supported by a central fluted column which is flanked by three standing cherub or putti figures. The entire assembly rests on a circular, stepped base. The exterior and interior are finished in a creamy off-white glaze with an iridescent pearlescent luster. The underside of the base contains an incised mark that reads ATLANTIC ? MOLD A82.
