Description
This group consists of seven vintage children’s books and two cardboard tray puzzles dating from the late 1950s to the early 1960s. The book selection includes a hardcover edition of Dr. Seuss’s ABC published by Beginner Books, a division of Random House. Also included are two Rand McNally Tip-Top Elf Books: Volksy: The Little Yellow Car (item 8695) and Little Cub Scout (item 8665). The set features four softcover Durabook authorized editions with Hanna-Barbera characters, including Quick Draw McGraw on Raspberry Ridge, Magilla Gorilla and the Banananappers, The Flintstones on a Picnic (With Dino), and The Jetsons: Sunday Afternoon on the Moon. These softcover titles feature a printed cover price of 39 cents. The two cardboard tray puzzles comprise a Walt Disney’s Zorro puzzle by Jaymar Specialty Co. (item 2311) depicting Zorro in a dueling scene, and a nursery rhyme themed puzzle manufactured by TUCO Workshops, Inc., dated 1961 with artwork signed by Bob Bindig.
