each is 38×69 A collection of three vintage printed cotton decorative wall tapestries manufactured in Adana, Turkey, by Bossa T.A.S. and exported by Exsa Export A.S. The group includes three distinct pictorial scenes, each framed by ornate multi-colored borders. The first tapestry features a symmetrical peacock motif, depicting two birds with detailed plumage facing each other on a stone balustrade against a Middle Eastern palace background and a deep red sky. The second tapestry depicts a tropical coastal landscape with palm trees, a rocky shoreline, and turquoise water, finished with a blue twisted yarn fringe on the lateral edges. The third tapestry illustrates a woodland scene with a large antlered stag and several does and fawns near a stream under a red sky. All three items are constructed from 100 percent cotton fabric with the printed design visible on the reverse side. A white fabric label sewn to the reverse of the tropical scene identifies the manufacturer as Bossa T.A.S. and the exporter as Exsa Export A.S. in Adana, Turkey. A partial, worn manufacturer label is present on the reverse corner of the forest scene tapestry.
