Description
This collection consists of MAD Magazines and special collector’s editions published by E.C. Publications and DC Comics. The lot features modern-era issues and various themed compilations from the 2010s. Identified titles include MAD Number 9 from October 2019 which is a Special Tarantino Time Warp Issue, MAD Issue 548 from December 2017 featuring a parody of Stranger Things, and MAD Issue 522 from September 2013 featuring Alfred E. Neuman at a water park. Also present is Hollywood Goes MAD Number 2 from August 2018. The collector’s editions include MAD Spoofs Movie Classics featuring Jaws, MAD Spoofs Star Wars featuring C-3PO and R2-D2, MAD Spoofs Star Wars and Sci-Fi featuring Chewbacca, MAD Spoofs the 90s featuring Seinfeld and Forrest Gump, and the MAD Golden Collection of Garbage. A political parody issue titled Kids Today featuring Jared Kushner is also part of the group. The issues display typical illustrative cover art and contain standard newsprint or semi-glossy interior pages. Retail barcodes and pricing are visible on the front covers.
