Description
This lot features two vintage fixed blade knives, including a military-style utility knife and a smaller hunting knife, each with an original leather sheath. The utility knife is a Pal RH-36, featuring a carbon steel clip point blade with a fuller. The tang is stamped with the maker mark Pal inside an oval over RH-36, and Made in U.S.A. is stamped vertically to the right. The handle is constructed of stacked leather washers with red and black fiber spacers at the guard and pommel, a straight steel crossguard, and a cast aluminum pommel secured with a pin. The second knife is a small hunting model with jigged bone scales secured by two metal pins, a small steel finger guard, and a cast aluminum pommel. No maker marks are visible on the smaller knife. Both knives are housed in brown leather sheaths with snap-closure straps and metal rivets.
