Description
A vintage large folding hunter pocket knife produced by W.R. Case and Sons Cutlery Co. This 6265 SAB pattern features two carbon steel blades, including a large clip point master blade with a sabre grind and a secondary skinning blade. The handle is constructed with dark brown jigged scales, likely bone or synthetic, featuring an inlaid oval Case shield. The frame is built with brass liners and nickel silver bolsters, with a factory-drilled lanyard hole located in the rear bolster. The tang of the master blade is stamped CASE XX over U.S.A., a mark used between 1965 and 1969. The opposite side of the tang is stamped with the pattern number 6265 SAB.
