Description
This lot comprises three contemporary decorative figurines crafted from cast resin, each functioning as a display stand for a polished gemstone sphere. The central figurine features a mermaid with a metallic gold-toned torso and a copper-toned tail, perched atop a base modeled after coral and sea life. This holder supports a large chevron amethyst sphere characterized by its purple and white banded V-shaped patterns. Accompanying the central piece is a pair of nearly identical figurines with a cream-colored, semi-gloss bisque-style finish. These seated mermaids hold large scallop shells that cradle the spheres. One holds a translucent rose quartz sphere of pale pink coloration. The other holds a deep blue sphere with a significant gray and white matrix, characteristic of sodalite or lapis lazuli. The bases of all three figurines are decorated with relief-molded oceanic motifs including various shells, coral, and starfish.
