Description
An assortment of vintage American political campaign and entertainment commemorative buttons and pins, presented in a black-framed display case with a white cushioned backing. The collection is primarily focused on the Kennedy family, highlighted by two large lenticular flicker buttons that alternate between a portrait of John F. Kennedy and the phrase THE MAN FOR THE 60s. The group includes multiple smaller campaign pins for John F. Kennedy featuring his likeness on patriotic red, white, and blue backgrounds, a Ted Kennedy pin reading WE NEED YOU IN 72, and a white pin with red text stating IMPEACH NIXON. Also included is a large commemorative button for Elvis Presley, titled King of Rock n Roll, featuring a central portrait and the dates 1935 and 1977. The buttons are constructed of metal with printed celluloid or plastic covers. No maker marks are visible on the faces of the items.
