Description
16x13x16 A vintage red-painted metal cooler chest manufactured by The Hamilton-Skotch Corporation of Hamilton, Ohio. The exterior features a red finish and is equipped with a large metal bail handle. The sides of the chest feature integrated metal brackets with side-mounted bottle openers stamped BOTTLE OPENER. The lid includes a secondary smaller carrying handle. The interior is fitted with a galvanized metal liner and is insulated with fiberglass. An original instructional paper label is adhered to the underside of the lid, identifying the item as THE HAMILTON-Skotch COOLER CHEST with Galvanized Liner. This label lists twelve specific product features, including its portable all-steel construction, refrigerator-style sealing gasket, and aluminum drain. A threaded aluminum drain plug is situated at the base of one side.
