Description
This vintage gasoline-powered blowtorch was manufactured by The Turner Brass Works of Sycamore, Illinois. The tool consists of a cylindrical brass fuel tank with a flared base and a horizontally oriented burner assembly. It features a top-mounted air pump for pressurizing the vessel, a black grooved handle, and a black star-shaped control knob to regulate fuel flow. The burner is equipped with a protective metal heat shield and a top hook. A prominent shield-shaped decal on the tank is colored red and cream, bearing the company name and the letters B and W. The pump cap is stamped with the manufacturer information and a trademark depicting a stylized bird. One side of the burner casting is stamped SYCAMORE while the reverse displays the alphanumeric code N3B120-X1. Height: Approximately 9.5 inches.
