Lot 16:
Description
2.5x4x2.5 This set of four individual glass dishes is attributed to early 20th-century Czechoslovakian glass production. Each dish is composed of mold-pressed colored glass in an octagonal form with beveled edges. The set includes four distinct colors: cobalt blue, amber, rose pink, and light aqua blue. The base of each dish features an intaglio (reverse-molded) figure of a dancing woman in classical attire, which appears in relief when viewed from above. These figures have a frosted or satin finish that contrasts with the clear glass. The dishes are housed in a cast brass-tone metal carrier. The carrier includes a flat handle with a repeating floral and scroll relief pattern and rests on four ornate feet with foliate motifs. No maker marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the glass or the metal stand.
