Description
This collection includes several sets of cold-painted cast metal salt and pepper shakers in varied Americana-themed forms. Included in the assortment is a horse and buggy set with driver, a pair of Native American figures holding shields, kerosene-style oil lamps, lanterns, and sad irons. The pieces are constructed of cast metal and decorated with hand-painted motifs, including floral designs in the Pennsylvania Dutch style on the lamps, lanterns, and sad irons. No manufacturer markings are visible on any of the pieces. Handwritten collection numbers 1349, 1231, 8985, and 613 are present on various labels and stoppers. Height: 1.5 to 3 inches.
