Description
This lot consists of a trio of ceramic pitchers featuring various glaze techniques and relief-molded decorations, likely of 20th-century American manufacture. The first item is a stoneware pitcher with a rounded ovoid body, finished in a two-tone gradient glaze that transitions from cobalt blue at the rim and base to a speckled cream center. The second item is a brownware pitcher with a barrel-form body, featuring relief-molded bands and a faux bois wood-grain texture; this specific form is characteristic of designs produced by McCoy Pottery. It is finished in a glossy dark brown glaze and has an unmarked, unglazed base. The third item is a brownware pitcher with relief-molded clusters of grapes and vine leaves against a textured ground, accented by a geometric zigzag or sawtooth band encircling the rim. This pitcher is finished in a matching glossy dark brown glaze. The base of the grape-motif pitcher features an unglazed outer ring and a central glazed area with a faint, illegible indentation.
