Description
12×2.5 and 10×2.5 This lot consists of two vintage fire safety identification signs. The first is an oval sign made of porcelain enamel on metal with a convex profile. It features a red background with white sans-serif block lettering reading FIRE ALARM. The reverse of the oval sign is finished in a black glossy enamel. The second sign is a rectangular metal strip with a red background and white sans-serif block lettering also reading FIRE ALARM. The rectangular sign is equipped with two mounting holes reinforced with metal grommets. The reverse is finished in a dark brown or charcoal-colored coating. Both signs include a small white adhesive label on the back marked 255.
