Description
This lot comprises a collection of vintage monochrome lithographic promotional portraits, commonly known as arcade cards or exhibit cards, produced during the mid-20th century. The cards feature a variety of prominent American film and television actors, including Donna Douglas, Juliet Prowse, Bill Cosby, Robert Culp, Dick Crecca, Ursula Thiess, Ben Gazzara, Jane Fonda, Diane Baker, and Robert Goulet. Each card presents a professional studio portrait on cardstock with a printed facsimile signature of the individual. A printed mark stating Printed in U. S. A. is present at the bottom of every card. The lot includes multiple duplicate copies of several celebrities. These cards were primarily distributed via coin-operated machines in arcades and amusement parks during the 1960s. Dimensions: approximately 3.25 inches by 5.25 inches to 3.5 inches by 5.5 inches.
