Description
8 in diameter. This vintage automotive stop light was manufactured by The Grote Manufacturing Co. of Bellevue, Kentucky. The lamp is designated as Model No. 250. It features a rounded black-painted steel housing with an integrated L-shaped mounting bracket. A polished metal bezel holds a red glass lens in place with a single screw-tightened clamp. The lens is embossed with the manufacturer name, location, model number, and the word TOP at the upper edge. The center of the lens displays a black horizontal band with translucent red block lettering spelling STOP. A single, cut, cloth-covered electrical wire extends from the rear of the housing. The light is constructed with a four-bolt mounting pattern on the back of the dome housing.
