Description
48 x 48 This is a vintage handmade Cathedral Window quilt featuring a three-dimensional folded fabric construction. The piece is built upon a solid black ground fabric, likely cotton or a cotton blend, which forms the lattice structure. The inset window panels are composed of vibrant, solid-colored fabric pieces arranged in a concentric diamond pattern. The color scheme begins with a red center and radiates outward through shades of orange, yellow, teal, royal blue, and purple. The reverse side shows the uniform folding and stitching pattern in the black ground fabric.
