Description
A pair of large vintage curtain panels featuring a mid-century novelty print in the style of designer Margaret Meier. The pictorial pattern consists of a repeating motif of stylized, leaping golden gazelles or antelopes with spiraled horns. These animals are depicted amidst large, vibrant floral bouquets including peonies, sunflowers, and smaller pink blossoms, interspersed with flowering tree branches. The textile is a cotton or cotton-blend barkcloth characterized by a pronounced pebbled texture. The color palette consists of golden yellow, rose pink, deep teal, and forest green set against a pale grey ground.
