Description
This lot consists of a pair of vintage pinch-pleated curtain panels. The one cutain panel has been made and the other is raw material only. The panels are constructed from a heavyweight textured cotton fabric, characteristic of mid-20th-century barkcloth, and are fully lined with a white plain-weave fabric. The design features a large-scale English Country style floral pattern composed of bouquets of roses in shades of pink and cream, accented by green foliage and brown branches, all set against an off-white or cream ground. The top of panel is finished with triple pinch-pleat headers. The finished curtain has large water stains at lower end of curtain.
