Description
46 x 74 A hand-pieced and hand-quilted patchwork quilt featuring the traditional Ocean Waves geometric pattern. The central field is composed of triangular fabric sections in shades of teal, medium blue, and dark brown arranged in a repeating diamond-like motif. The quilt is framed by a wide dark brown border and finished with a narrow teal fabric binding. The reverse consists of a solid dark brown fabric. Elaborate hand-quilted stitching is visible across the entire surface, featuring decorative floral and foliate motifs within the solid color blocks and borders. The construction utilizes solid-colored fabrics, consistent with traditional American regional quilt-making practices.
