Description
64 x 74 A mid-20th-century American patchwork quilt featuring a variation of the Snowball block pattern. The quilt top is composed of multiple solid-colored fabric squares in a palette of pink, purple, black, gray, white, and teal, joined by small contrasting diamond-shaped cornerstones at the intersections. The central field is framed by a wide yellow inner border and a narrow cream-colored outer border. The textile is hand-quilted with visible running stitches. The reverse side is constructed from a printed fabric featuring a diamond-grid pattern with floral and paisley motifs in shades of red, yellow, green, and purple. Machine zigzag stitching is visible along the edges.
