Description
76 x 80 This vintage American hand-pieced and hand-quilted patchwork scrap quilt is constructed from a variety of cotton fabrics, including assorted calico floral prints, ginghams, stripes, polka dots, and solids. The design is based on a geometric half-square triangle pattern, similar to a Broken Dishes variation. A nursery-themed border is featured at the bottom edge, depicting alphabet blocks and children’s figures. The quilt is finished with dense hand-stitched diagonal grid quilting throughout. The reverse side is composed of a plain off-white cotton fabric.
