Description
74 x 88 An antique American patchwork quilt featuring a Nine Patch pattern. The quilt is constructed from hand-pieced cotton fabrics, with blocks consisting of a three-by-three grid of alternating indigo blue printed calico and white cotton squares. These blocks are set into a plain white cotton field in a regular grid arrangement. The quilt is finished with dense hand-quilting in a fine diagonal cross-hatch pattern throughout. The reverse features a plain white cotton backing.
