Description
15 x 15, 23 x 42 A set of three contemporary handmade quilted textile items, including one holiday-themed wall hanging and two decorative floral squares. The vertical rectangular wall hanging features an appliqu?d tree of life motif with dark brown swirling branches adorned with pink flowers, red hearts, and two light blue birds. The lower section features red embroidered cursive text reading Happy Valentines Day. The piece is finished with a teal binding and a diagonal grid quilting pattern on a white ground. The reverse side features a pink paisley pattern fabric. The two small square quilted pieces feature cream-colored grounds with concentric circular hand-quilting. One square depicts an appliqu? of five tulips in yellow, purple, salmon, and pink tones arranged within a blue pitcher. The second square depicts five tulips in yellow, blue, red, and pink tones within a grey-and-white bowl with teal-colored leaves. Both squares are finished with cream-colored binding and have plain cream-colored reverse sides. The items are constructed from cotton fabrics with polyester or cotton batting, featuring a combination of machine-stitched binding and decorative hand-quilting and appliqu?.
