Description
68 x 80 An unfinished hand-pieced patchwork quilt top featuring a radiating medallion design in a variation of the Grandmother’s Flower Garden pattern. The piece is constructed from numerous fabric hexagons. The patches display a wide range of colors and patterns including ginghams, stripes, solids, and geometric prints characteristic of the 1960s and 1970s. The reverse side shows manual piecing with raw, folded edges. The quilt top is a hexagon shape.
