Description
Approx 15 x 26 This collection features multiple quilted textile items, including table runners and a decorative mat. One rectangular table runner is crafted from green fabric featuring a central printed scene of two bluebirds in a nest within an apple tree with white butterflies. The bottom edge of the fabric is printed with the marks Warranted Fast Colours, Dunmoy, and Pure Irish Linen. The reverse of this piece bears a handwritten inscription in purple ink that reads Ev over 10-06. The group also includes a square cream-colored mat featuring a teal-green fabric appliqu? of interlocking circles. The center contains a small appliqu? basket in a red and white patterned fabric filled with three red fruits. This piece shows elaborate hand-stitched quilting in radiating and concentric patterns and is finished with a cream-colored binding. Two additional rectangular table runners feature rose motifs. One displays a gray trellis-style background pattern with printed pink roses and buds clustered at one end, finished with a bright pink fabric binding. The other runner is decorated with an all-over diamond quilted pattern and a print of large pink roses and green leaves on a cream ground, also finished with a bright pink fabric binding. Construction across the collection includes a mix of machine-printed fabrics, hand-appliqu?, and hand-quilting. Materials include linen, cotton, and synthetic batting.
