Description
50 x 68 This hand-assembled patchwork quilt is constructed using a variation of a hexagon or tumbling blocks pattern. The top is composed of multiple hand-pieced units of solid and floral-printed cotton or cotton-blend fabrics in a palette of lavender, purple, light blue, and peach. The quilt layers are joined by visible yarn or thread ties at the patch intersections rather than traditional quilting stitches. The reverse side consists of light blue fabric panels accented with horizontal bands of coordinating patchwork. The edges are unfinished or frayed.
