Description
64 x 78 A hand-pieced quilt top constructed from assorted cotton fabrics. The design features alternating blocks of an eight-pointed Lemoyne Star pattern and a red, white, and blue plaid cotton fabric. The star blocks consist of a bright pink cotton ground with a small blue square at the center, with star points made from a variety of scrap-style fabrics including florals, paisleys, stripes, and geometric prints. The blocks are hand-joined using visible running stitches, as seen on the reverse side. The item is an unfinished textile and lacks batting, backing, and binding.
