Description
64 x 70 This is a hand-quilted, reversible bed coverlet or quilt made by the Holmes Co, OH Amish. The piece is constructed from solid-colored fabrics, likely cotton or a cotton-polyester blend. The front side features a central purple field framed by concentric blue and purple borders. The reverse side is composed of a single piece of solid light blue fabric. The entire quilt is hand-quilted with high-contrast thread. The purple and light blue sections feature decorative floral and vine quilting motifs, while the blue borders are quilted with a diagonal diamond crosshatch pattern. The edges are finished with a dark blue fabric binding.
