Description
70 x 90 This mid-20th century American pieced quilt top features a complex interlocking circular design. The pattern consists of slate-blue quadrants forming circular motifs, which are defined and separated by a grid of off-white fabric bands. Each major intersection features a red accent square composed of four smaller sections. The red fabric is printed with a small-scale black geometric calico design typical of the 1930s to 1950s. The piece is constructed from cotton or cotton-blend fabrics and is machine-stitched. The reverse side shows exposed seam allowances and loose thread ends. This is an unfinished quilt top
