Description
This collection of twenty-four vintage glass Christmas ornaments is comprised of two original retail boxed sets by manufacturers Shiny Brite and J. Franke. The first set contains twelve metallic gold glass ornaments by J. Franke. The original box displays the Franke company logo alongside the slogans America’s Finest and Glass Tree Ornaments, and includes an Advertised in Life mark. The second set features twelve metallic red glass ornaments by Shiny Brite, produced by Max Eckardt and Sons. The packaging is characterized by a printed holly leaf border and the classic Shiny Brite logo. These ornaments represent mass-produced American holiday glass from the mid-20th century, utilizing metallic finishes typical of mercury glass-style ornaments.
