Description
This lot consists of three vintage Pyrex refrigerator storage dishes, frequently referred to as fridgies, from the Primary Colors collection. The set features one large rectangular dish in yellow and two smaller dishes in red. Each item is manufactured from opaque white milk glass with a fired-on exterior enamel finish. Each dish includes its original clear pressed glass lid, which is characterized by a ribbed top surface. The base of the yellow dish is embossed with clear manufacturer markings including 502, 1 1/2 QT, Trade Mark, 12, Pyrex, a circular logo containing CG, Made in U.S.A., and Ovenware. The two red dishes are model number 501. Auction labels and adhesive residue are visible on the exterior of the pieces. Large Yellow Dish (Model 502): 1.5 Quart capacity Small Red Dishes (Model 501): 1.5 Cup capacity each.
