Description
This lot consists of a trio of vintage Pyrex refrigerator storage dishes from the Primary Colors collection, each accompanied by its original clear glass lid. The group includes one large rectangular dish (model 503) featuring a fired-on turquoise blue finish and two small square dishes (model 501) with fired-on bright yellow finishes. These items are constructed from white opal glass, a classic material for mid-century American kitchenware. Each dish is fitted with a clear glass lid designed with a characteristic fluted or ribbed top. The underside of the yellow dishes is embossed with manufacturer’s marks reading 501-B, PYREX, MADE IN U.S.A., and the number 10. This set was manufactured by Corning Glass Works in the United States.
